HIRE Up a Young Person This Summer

Summer is more than a season.

For a young person, it is a window of opportunity, and what happens during those weeks can shape what comes after.

As the weather changes and school lets out, we are working to make sure that pathways are open to our young people who deserve to walk through them

Our partners and our community invite youth into spaces that do more than build a resume. They change how a young person sees themselves. And that change ripples outward, into families, neighborhoods, and communities

Interns in our HIRE Up summer program earn $17 an hour for 15 hours a week. This offers them not just a paycheck, but hands-on experience, confidence-building opportunities, and a glimpse of what they can achieve when given support and guidance.

Our goal is to raise $25,000 to strengthen and expand HIRE Up, ensuring more young people have access to meaningful work experiences this summer and beyond.
